Mindy
I’m dedicated to the fight for an amendment and comprehensive, meaningful campaign finance reform because without it, our government will continue to put the interests of big-money donors over those of everyday people.

Imagine buying a brand-new condominium every single year. This is very close to how much it costs to keep my sleep patterns on track with Hetlioz, the medicine I take for Non-24-Hour Sleep-Wake Disorder. The only reason I can get it is because I’m on Medicaid.
I failed college because of this disorder and having this medicine has changed my life for the better. However, I know that because of financial corruption, our government refuses to do anything about our utterly broken health care system which leaves others without treatment, in massive debt, and, far too often, even dead. Every political group in The USA knows that we need to do something about this, even though they disagree on what that is.
Ending this corruption is important to me because I know the kind of country I want to live in, and the USA doesn’t cut it now in multiple ways. Financial corruption in our politics is the reason that we can’t solve any of our country’s problems, including the one I mentioned above. Every American citizen should be able to easily get the life changing or life saving medicine they need.

Big Money in politics is the root cause of many of the problems that our communities struggle with today. The obscene influence of Big Money in campaigns/ elections has left us with a system that no longer serves or works for the public. Our public officials have become subservient to it. Money and Public Servants who serve in the interest of generating personal wealth have polluted and gutted our systems at large, from the healthcare system, to the “criminal justice” system, to the rental market. If we want real community-focused policy that works for everyone, money must be removed from the equation.

David
Why am I here? It was #45. Not just that he is a fascist and a liar, but I could not believe who he was appointing to his cabinet. An oil CEO for the EPA, a person with a vested interest in charter and private schools for public education, and even making the postmaster general someone who wants to dismantle the post office because he is invested in private delivery companies. I just felt like I had to do something and get involved.

Sam
I joined Wolf-PAC the day it was founded because my wife was pregnant with twins. I promised my girls they would live in a country that cared about their opinions. They are going to be 11 soon. It is more urgent now than ever.
